Tik Tak Eclectic Music Festival 19.05.2013

Sunday May 19th, during Pentecost weekend it’s on: the very first edition of TIKTAK Eclectic Music Festival in Amsterdam’s Arenapark. The culmination of a series of splendid evenings at AIR, a bombastic Mysteryland stage and an epic New Year’s Eve at Heineken Music Hall. The most logical step for Amsterdam’s front runner in eclectic dance music: their very own festival.

Presenting three stages and over thirty artists, they’re not taking half measures. Diversity is the key, with international headliners like Armand van Helden – the New York house pioneer, still hogging the limelight with projects like Ducksauce, Italian dance punk legend and Rihanna’s dj Congorock, Guatamalan trap icon Carnage, Bristol grime guru Redlight and UK heroes Jack Beats.

Obviously, Holland’s very own cream of the crop in eclectic music will represent. De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig, The Opposites and chart stormers Yellow Claw are all going to be there. Also The Flexican & MC Sef, DIO and his band and The Partysquad, who will do a special performance together with Ms. Dynamite, are all ready for it. That this is only a selection of a list counting over thirty, shouldn’t come as a surprise.

TIKTAK will join forces with eclectic collective SFFRMKRS, who are adding a fabulous line-up in a massive tent. And Klassenfeestje (Geza Weisz, DIO & Manuel Broekman), currently gaining lots of popularity with an ode to the music of their youth. They’ll be hosting a stage and throwing a party, where anything
goes!
