Calvin Harris 8 Top Tens From 1 Album, Beats “King Of Pop” Michael Jackson
Few people can rightfully say that they’re better than Michael Jackson at something, but DJ/Producer juggernaut Calvin Harris has recently become one of those people. Harris now has the feather in his cap of having 8 singles off one album in the top 10 charts making mince meat of MJ’s measly 7.
All of the tracks have been boosted from his recent album 18 Months. The reign began in June 2011 with Bounce featuring Kelis, which peaked at #2. That was followed by Feel So Close, which also hit #2. I think we all remember the duet with Rihanna, We Found Love, which made it all the way to #1 along with Let’s Go Featuring Ne-Yo, We’ll Be Coming Back Featuring Example, Sweet Nothing Featuring Florence Welch and Drinking From The Bottle also all creeping into the top 10.
If you counted correctly you would have totaled 7 but as this past Sunday, the track I Need Your Love featuring Ellie Goulding rose to number 7, rounding off a cool world record with 8 tracks. This of course translates well into album sales with the latest figures showing that in 18 Months Harris has shifted a cheeky 543,000 units.
The Scottish DJ is yet to take another, possibly more prestigious mantel off MJ who managed to score 7 tracks in the top 10 with two individual records.
How did I get 8 top tens from 1 album well it’s all thanks to this Instagram.com/p/YaXcQ9N3Bn/
