Child Drops Track “Interplanetary”
Who: Child
What: Interplanetary
Where: Australia
When you read Child’s bio on the Outpost Recordings website, you’re taken by surprise by the…well, let me just put it in here for you.
“Brought up by a pack of wolves in the siberian tundra, for the first 12 years of Child’s life he could communicate only through a series or grunts and growls. Rescued by Hasidic jewish explorers who went on to become his adopted parents,Childwas introduced to classical folk music quickly learning the glockenspiel and the tambourine. Through these tools and an old commodore 64 computer he was able to devise a system which enabled him to finally communicate with the outside world and thus the reclusive veil, which was previously his life, was finally lifted.” (From the Outpost Recordings’ “Artist” section of their website.)
So sounds pretty intense right? Turns out he’s actually just a pretty normal guy from Australia. If you wanna check out his Facebook. However, he does make some pretty great music and Interplanetary is an interesting blend of progressive house and a groovier genre like deep or tech house. It reminds me of a Pryda track but with a heavier bass-line. Definitely give it a listen and if you like it, grab it off Beatport.
