An eclectic selection of tracks, the remixes of Maintain are groovy, yet very spacey in their selection of sounds. Both tracks are an incredibly unique take on the original, with MANDY’s being a bit more electronic. I enjoyed his use of synth swells, and brutally deep bass lines that keep an incredibly steady groove. His vocal dub is superb as well and I really enjoyed the emotion his track conveys.
Just Be’s remix is very tribal, yet includes that same deep-house spacey sound. I like the intensity of the bass-line/kick combination. Very low beneath those two are deep organ stabs that add a great depth to the track. Make sure you listen to this one with a nice subwoofer. If you like them both, grab them on Beatport.
