An older track but still quite good, Patchwork’s remix of the great TDCC original is full of life, vibrant synths, and a very groovy disco-house feel. The track is very much a top-40 kind of hit, but it’s fun to listen to and the vocals fit perfectly over Patchwork’s new production. It’s a wonderfully happy tune and will brighten your day at any point. What’s interesting to me about a track like this is that I could see it at the top of the iTunes store as one of the most bought songs. It has that perfect combination of EDM and accessible vocals that people seem to need in their tracks before it comes anywhere near the top 40. This could be the future of popular music, but for now we have people like Chris Brown clogging our airwaves with crap. Hopefully someone like Patchwork will come save us from this soon.
