Coming out of the unique Italian techno scene, newcomers The Deepshakerz have dropped a wonderfully groovy EP full of pumping bass-lines, and hi-hat-tastic drops. This EP is unadulterated tech house and is full of life and energy. For starters, their music production is done quite well and the levels of their instruments are perfect. Their bass lines are driving and powerful, drums are very prominent but leave room for other important aspects of the song, and vocals are a bit quiet but still work wonderfully with the music. What is interesting about the vocals however is the lyrical content of the overdubs, speaking of things like lower-class issues in the track My Crowd. Very limitedly however as this is dance music, but it’s a very interesting choice of content for a track. This entire EP grooves so hard and is guaranteed to get you moving in your chair.
