One of my favorite alternative rock groups, Mutemath (out of New Orleans), has been remixed by the very unique and eclectic style that is Pierce Fulton. The track starts out very spaciously and while I was originally worried about someone remixing Mutemath, Pierce knocks this one out of the park. The chords underneath Meany’s voice are perfect and carry a lot of weight. There are also a lot of very subtle undertones to the track that allows it to be perfect for both a closing track in a club, and easy listening. The track borders between melancholy, and a strange hopefulness that makes it extra special. Give it a listen.
