Figure’s remix of Deltron’s classic is one of the heavier songs I’ve posted in a long while. Bordering somewhere between trap and moombahcore, the remix blows speakers apart with its heavy dubstep sound, epic strings, and heavy drums. A very interesting take on a classic hip-hop track.

If you are unfamiliar with Deltron 3030, its a hip hop group formed in the late 90s by Dan the Automator, Del the Funky Homosapien, and DJ Kid Koala. Their self-titled debut and only album to date was released in 2000 however just recently, as in this year, they released a track I believe called Bioscientists which is part of their new album, Deltron Event II. They’ve been talking about this album for like 8 years now and not much has really come out so hopefully they release it soon. It’s slated for spring 2013, but who knows at this point. They started it in the early 2000s! We’ll see I guess. For now, rage to this massive remix by Figure.
