Flume’s Sleepless Remix Package II Out On Future Classic

The remixes of Sleepless, Part 2, include two incredible pieces of electronica by Cosmo’s and Murdoch who won Beatport’s Remix Contest. Cosmo’s remix is much slower, but ambient and groovy nonetheless. It’s very hip-hop-esque but with a much more emotional feel to it. The track goes from loud and driving, to quiet and thoughtful and is a wonderful listen.
Charles Murdoch’s remix is somewhere between D&B and hip hop but is much more aggressive and energetic. The kick drum is also incredibly powerful and reminds me of tracks like Snoop Dogg & Pharell’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot”. Check it out.
