Sometimes DJs release collections of tracks they enjoy, or tracks they’ve seen get good reactions from the crowd at various shows. Our old friend Roger Sanchez has released such a thing however the album is about 30 tracks long which is huge, to say the least. Mostly I avoid these releases as they can be a mixed bag of good/okay songs but Sanchez’s album is actually a standout collection. He includes House, Tech House, and Deep House (my favorite genres), but each track is groovy as all get-out and frankly I spent the entire listening experience enjoying what I was hearing. He even includes a Pre-Party and Party Mix at the end which I think is an incredible idea. Not only that, Sanchez has a very minimal amount of his own tracks on the album and mainly displays other artists currently in the scene. What a good guy.
