It is true that progressive house has lost a bit of soul in the recent months. Too many songs have been pushed out by too many artists and things are sounding a bit dry and recycled. I can say that same thing about DubVision’s remix of Committed To Sparkle Motion, however there is one redeeming quality to the track. Not to say that their progressive sections are bad, but to be honest I could name about 3-4 songs that sound very similar. What makes this track so good is Discopolis’ vocals dubbed overtop. There is something very unique about the quality of Fergus’ vocals that make the track so much more special and really give it that extra push of emotion that is so necessary. Its the same house music that has been popular for so long, but once more with feeling. And frankly, that little bit extra makes it worth the listen. Check it out!
