“Dutch Influence” Premieres @ Pathé Tuschinski October 17th
“Our goal is to conquer the world”, says Tiësto in the documentary Dutch Influence that will premiere on the 17th of October at Pathé Tuschinski in Amsterdam. Dutch Influence will play in Pathé City from October 18th until October 21st. The movie highlights the influence that Holland has on the worldwide dance scene. National and international leading figures of the dance scene will be present during the world premier that will also serve as the official opening of the Amsterdam Dance Event 2012.
Dutch artists are lonely at the top; Dutch organizations are praised worldwide for their concepts and productions. How is it possible that the small country of wooden shoes, windmills and cheese has such a large influence on the dance scene, and what is it exactly that this influence entails? Dutch glorious dj’s such as Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Afrojack and Chuckie have been followed worldwide for the past 3 years to answer these questions.
‘Our guys’ share their experiences in Dutch Influence. They tell all about the success but also the flip sides. Besides this, the documentary combines interviews with party footage of events during, amongst others, Miami Music Week, Ibiza, Las Vegas and Amsterdam, which gives you the opportunity to, even just for a moment, feel what dj’s experience on a daily basis. Not only do our dj’s rock the world, Holland also does well considering event organizations and logistics. ID&T and their worldwide recognized Sensation that has, since their first edition ever in 2000, entertained millions of people in over more than twenty countries, is also featured in Dutch Influence.

Curious for Dutch Influence yet?! The documentary will be shown during the Amsterdam Dance Event in Pathé City at the Leidseplein in Amsterdam. Thursday 18th till Sunday 21st of October at 4.30 pm and 7.30 pm and during the weekend there will be an extra show at 2 pm. The documentary is Dutch but not to worry; it has English subtitles so you won’t have to miss a thing!
