What ever happened to Beatjunks? This is by now a question everyone is dieing to get an answer for…
Let me bring you back to the beginning, there was R. and there was G. Both parties were doing there thing on the internet. As the majority of the people on the interwebs were searching for the latest tracks in DJ world, a small but elite group had the upper-hand in this business.
ML75 was a public platform were this all started, as this forum started to get too small for all what was happening on there, a private forum was born. House Of House was unleashed and the digits of people who were joining started to overload.
The start of music blogs was on the rise back in 2007, as G. had the most popular blog of them all… Beatjunkies was firing news after news and became a huge name in the music world, one not ever to be forgotten. G. asked R. to join Beatjunkies. His task was to overview and make up plans to structure this all.
In all of this, Beatjunkies changed its name to Beatjunks and the new website reached out to millions of new people, giving them amazing news and music to enjoy.
For strategic reasons we had to change the name and even if Beatjunks is gone now for a while, Dance Rebels will live on in that same spirit to be a better portal for all what Beatjunks ever was.
Just sharing what we like, is all what we do.
