Bionic is an interesting piece of Indie Dance/Nu Disco from producer Fake Blood who has been in the game for many years now. The track is very minimalistic, consisting of only a few bleeps, bloops, loops, and a simple drum beat. It is a surprisingly groovy track that shows off Fake Blood’s more 8-Bit side but remains very spacious in its approach to the genre. What I like best about it is the very high flanging bleeps over the breaks that add a really cool off-beat aspect to it. The track has taken me a few listens to really get used to, however once I really listened to it a few times I was able to really appreciate what he was trying to do with the piece. While it may not pull you in instantly, grab some headphones and give it a try.
