There is something just so freaking awesome about trap music. I think it lies in how bouncy the music is, but with the rise of trap music I find myself lately really enjoying mixing hip hop and trap. This post is about Carnage’s remix of Annie’s Theme though and let me tell you it delivers. Sticking to the standard trap beat, Carnage takes Afrojack’s original dutch tune and uses the drop to make a really interesting genre blend that is guaranteed to get a party going. I am not however, a huge fan of the break as it seems a bit out-of-place. DJ Carnage’s use of the original song however is outstanding and he even includes a 4/4 section of the song which brings up the pace a bit. Give it a listen and a download!
