Zomerwoud (which I believe means summer forest however I am no expert in dutch) is a great techno track released from Cinematique that combines melodic synths, sparse group vocal loops, and spacey sound effects to create a very chill, and yet powerful piece of music. The bass and drums really drive the song forward and are pushed just far enough back that they don’t overpower the melody, but are still prominent and interesting parts of the song. Zomerwoud comes grouped as an entire Zomerwoud EP with 3 other tracks included so if you like the namesake of the release, check out the other songs as well.
