Sammy Bananas takes Miguel’s vocals and creates a groovy, relaxing, almost deep house track that is very interesting in its construction. Pairing a slow beat with very tribal sounding instruments, the track is almost entirely Miguel’s voice over Sammy’s producing. Melodically, Sammy’s choice of chord progression is outstanding in the way it compliments Miguel in both timbre and as an accompaniment. His use of the synth to add a solo to the piece is a great choice and adds a lot to the song. It may be slower than most EDM pieces you have heard recently, but is definitely worth the listen.
