It is very common for DJs to use acapellas in their live sets. It’s a great way to make mash-ups and remixes on the fly and is a useful tool for adding more mainstream interest to tracks that people may be unfamiliar with. However, a lot of people won’t necessarily throw down a few bucks for a track that just has vocals in it.
