Walden Drops New Release Titled “Warmonger”
Who: Walden
What: Warmonger (Original Mix)
Where: Australia
Walden has a very unique progressive sound. While it may follow a similar format as somebody like Alesso with his extended melodic lines, Walden’s sound is instantly recognizable and is almost innocent in its melodicism. Warmonger starts out with the harder progressive feel that has been so prevalent in tracks recently. With driving drums and the deep, more bass-like melody, Warmonger definitely was not what I was expecting or looking for in a Walden track. Especially after so many heavy releases like Zdarlight, and Loops & Tings, I wanted that Walden sound! A break from all the big room intensity that is progressive house these days. That’s when the second drop hit and I couldn’t have been happier. Walden’s sound re-appeared with a fun, energetic, and very melodic line freeing the track from all the monotony that progressive house has become. If only for the second drop and the awesome melody that makes progressive house so fun to listen to, grab this song.
