Their remix of Llove is Dada Life’s most recent track and while sticking to their Dada Life sound, unfortunately comes off a bit tired. I’m all for their usual crazy synth sound, however Llove lacks a certain power or to be completely blunt, imagination. There really isn’t much going on in terms of their use of the original melody, their signature sound, the beat, or even the bass. Haley’s vocals are catchy and her voice is wonderful as always, but you honestly don’t hear that much of them in the song. One redeeming quality is how epic the drop sounds chordally. Their choice of progression makes it sound like something straight from a new-age kung-fu movie. But, of course, decide for yourself and if you like it, grab it off Beatport.
