When I heard that a track was coming out with Donna Lewis as the main vocalist, I was honestly very surprised. I hadn’t heard anything from Donna Lewis since the 90s and really not much else since then. However, You & I is a catchy, and well produced progressive track. Donna Lewis’ way of singing sounds very innocent in how airy and how high of a range she generally is comfortable in which makes the track’s build all the more tonically interesting. The drop is similar to the style Alesso introduced with half-note long melodic changes and an uplifting feel. All and all, a great song and one that will definitely brighten your day if you need it.
