Dutch duo Firebeatz teamed up with newcomer Schella to release the electro track Dear New York which starts out innocently enough, until it breaks into an epic rave build with a prodigy-esque drum beat. Using the Beastie Boys’ sampled vocals from “An Open Letter To New York” (very minimally), the song breaks into a crazy electro house drop. The highlight of this song would be the second build in which they combine the “Dear New York” with some dubby sounds. All and all, Dear New York is a great electro house track with some aspects that really shine, worth a listen and possibly a buy if you’re a fan.
