There are tracks out there in the world of dance music that don’t make it to the mainstream because, well, they are a bit odd. However, odd isn’t necessarily bad and Boogie Belgique, out of Belgium, has been creating some really interesting swinghop/electrohop/hip hop tracks. His Excellency Regrets is a great example of his type of producing and, while it takes a bit to get used to, is a great track for a party or hanging out with friends. Using a standard hip hop beat, Boogie takes samples and background chords to create a piece that really shines in its genre. I always enjoy it when producers sound different and try new things and Boogie is a great example of this.
