Although hearing that Benny Benassi remixed Bob Marley’s Jammin’ would make most people raise their eyebrows, the Italian DJ/Producer pulls it off with a slick progressive AND (wait for it) dubstep-laden remix. The song uses copious amounts of the original Wailer’s track, and also features a very progressive, yet identifiably Benny Benassi drop. Not only does Bob Marley’s voice fit perfectly into the tune, Benassi throws in a dubstep section right in the middle. It may not be any Datsik or F.O.O.L., but he does a good job with it. Just don’t expect anything too groundbreaking as it is a tangent from his normal sound. The song rebuilds into progressive for the finish however, unfortunately for Americans, the song isn’t available in the US iTunes store. Bummer.
