Both Hook N Sling and NERVO have already proven themselves to be consistently good producers and their release of Reason is in line with the quality of the tracks they’ve released in the past. NERVO, a female DJ duo who have produced behind the scenes for such artists as Ke$ha and Jennifer Hudson, provide vocals that, in a genre where vocals are not generally always the most thought-out or differentiated, are interesting musically and fit the track very well. Combine that with a grinding bass-line, a melodic yet Dutch-esque lead synth, as well as uplifting background synths and you have one of the more fun and energetic releases of this month.
