Sidney Samson & Eva Simons – Celebrate The Rain [April 18 – Spinnin’ Records]

Listening to previous tracks from Sidney Samson displays a wide range of big electro tracks. Hits like “Mutate” and “Get Low” feature grimy Dutch house sounds that just simply cannot be duplicated. Now, he shifts gears on his latest production and reveals a finer and more refined sound. The Dutch house pioneer has come together with fellow countrywoman Eva Simons on a progressive house collaboration titled “Celebrate The Rain”. The radio edit has already began to make the rounds on the airwaves, and will be released fully on Spinnin’ Records on April 18.

Eva Simon‘s vocals set the tone for the track, as her soulful sound takes over the top line. Even if the lyrics have a slightly somber mood to them, Sidney Samson‘s instrumental provides the upbeat energy that he has always been known for underneath. He is able to weave his trademark bleepy Dutch house sound into a progressive house scheme that compliments the vocals perfectly.
